how to wire mph gauge?

how to wire rpm and mph gauges without jumper harness?
i have a 96 civic ex coupe obd2a with a 00 usb16a2 obd2b. Im not running the jumper harness yet, but i was wondering if anyone knows how to wire up the rpm and mph gauges, so ill know how fast im going, until i get that jumper harness?
