Me and a buddy just bought an 89 hatch for $200.

The goal is to make a semi-budget track car. The motor is SOHC vtec with teh boost. It is getting the DIY sleeves, the head is P&P with a crower stage 1 cam. We will be using shot-peened LS rods and some forged pistons, ARP head studs, and so forth.

Here are some pics to get it started.... Sorry all I had was my cell phone this time...

Here is a shot of the engine bay that I wire tucked and shaved most of the holes. We just sprayed it gloss black.


This is the ghetto seat for now... my buddy burned a hole in it with the welder haha.


And we had to much time on our hands so we painted the roof lol

Not to sound racist but there was no pic of the owner. He may have been Japanese and I respect something that that pays homage to your heritage even if I don't agree with it. The 2 guys on this thread are certainly not Japanese.
