it suppose to be in merced, ca. merced is about 1hr20mins south of sacramento and 1 hr north of fresno. rite in central cali. well i know the plan has been going on for a few years now. hopefully it comes through because merced is my hometown

 

i heard they are only building a 1/8th mile drag strip....

i hope that isnt true. we need more 1/4 mile facilities in CA....pomona, fontana, bakersfield, and sacramento is all we have. i guess since vegas is close, theow in LVMS.

It would be nice to see Irwindale converted to 1/4 mile....(wishful thinking)

i totally agree with you. that would be nice. thats only 20 minute drive for me.

Yeah, Hoepfully it won't won't end up like the "Sac valley motorplex". After all the hype the only thing that came out of it was an Ampitheater. A track near home would only give my wife more reasons to want to move back to CA though .
