ok i just primered my 91 hatch a light grey and it is all blochy, I took a buffer to it and that aint help, and 220 grit sand paper leaves scratches... i never primered anytbing before but what can i do to smooth out the paint and make it blend together better

 

Ok, use THIN layers of primer in long sweeping patterns. Use 600 grit WET sandpaper to smooth it out. yes...200 will scratch. IM me if you need more help.

 

600 grit is better...anything under 400 will scratch badly. I would even suggest using a 1000-1500 grit wet sandpaper after a 600-800.

 

ok thanks guys ill try to wet sand it with 600 or more grit and see how it comes out
