hey guys, i'm not really sure at all if i will be getting rims, but if i do, right now i'm leaning towards Rota C8's....but cannot decide whether i like bronze or gunmetal on my white G2...BTW if i get them i will be getting 16's....tell me what you guys think, and please, if you're gonna flame, don't respond.

i like the gun metal more

 

gunmetal is darker and the bronze aint that ugly. that shiet looks gold or somethin. both are good combos... hard to decide on that one.

 

Keep your GS-Rs or powdercoat them in gunmetal/anthracite.

 

yes i know, the photoshop colors are horrible, and really dont resemlbe the real thing at all, but whatever....anyone have pics with C8's on an integra? if so, post 'em up for me...

 

I think bronze on white is phat! Besides the Rota bronze doesn't look anything like that color you have in the pic. The real thing looks much better. By the way, do you want to sell those GSRs? I'll buy them from you.. that $$$ can go towards your Rota C8's. If you want to sell them email me a price.

get a decent pic of the bronze and you'll go for them -- ill post mine a bit later...they would look great. ya as mentioned above the pic you've shown with the photoshopped bronze doesnt do them justice.

The gun metal from rota is very dark, it almost looks black, but it is a gun metal. The pic makes them look darker too.

Gunmetal! Well, not the gunmetal that comes from Rota. I had to spraypaint mine with Duplicolor "Graphite" colored wheel paint.

where do they sell the duplicolor wheel paint? at auto stores or at hardwear stores, where did you get yours cheezefrog?

 

the rims you have now would look straight wicked powdercoated bronze...they also look more aestheticly contiguous with your car than either of the other ones. the others aren't TOO bad but everybody and his brother seems to be getting them now.

 

I have gun metal C8's on my prelude. They are very dark, and look black in all but direct sunlight.

 

why should he, you didnt(hahaha)? why cant he go out and buy the rota's like you did(hahaha)?

 

ok, well if those C8's on that red integra (xxplosif1) are black, i definately don't want or like them that dark...that is pretty much BLACK to me, but does anyone have pics of gunmetal and black to compare the 2? cuz if that is gunmetal, how much DARKER can the black C8's be? lol

Cheezefrog, i like the look of your's but i dont want to have to paint mine, if they came like that gunmetal color, i'd consider it, but if they're as black as people are claiming them to be, i may just have to go with the bronze....

I know the previous pic is kinda dark, the camera i was using was cheap Heres a few other ones, its more like a real gun metal...but still dark tho.

For those of you who want a color closer to my spraypainted wheels, I'd suggest you go with the C8's in "Savannah Gray" color. It's almost exactly like the color of mine, except much more durable than spray paint. Not sure if Savannah Gray is available on the C8's yet though.

Anyone got C8 on a g3 teg? Prefer white. But any other C8 on a G3 doesn't matter. Does C8 come in white and where is a good place to buy C8? 16" or 17" for racing? Thanks for the help.
