PLEASE HELP ME get this oil crap to work!
OK so i pcked up the Gredy oil plate "thing" and im trying to put my oil inlet line in, my electrical oil temp gauge and my electrical oil pressure gauge......AND NONE of them fit in the oprts.....do i need something else here. Has anyone gotten this to work? ITS LIKE the threads are different. i thought this was to be plug and play. PLEASE HELP?!
As you can see in the pics i get them to thread in about 1 or 2 threads and thats it. ive turned it with my hand but should i crank on it to try to get them to keep going?

you need to retap the holes to 1/8" NPT. take it to a machine/auto shop if you dont have a tap. should take about 5min if they know what they are doing.

you could use adapters but that will give you more places to leak and will cost more. plus it probably wont fit back there.
Tapping the holes will take no time at all since thay are already close to the right size. Use some oil or wd-40 and keep rewinding the tap every 1/2 turn or so to release the cut metal. Search the intraweb for more details.
when you thread the fittings into the new holes use some type of thread lubricant or sealant and dont crank on them too much.

im guessing the 2 smaller holes are 1/8....but hteres a larger one. the 3rd. ANY guess what sizr that might be?</TD></TR></TABLE>
the larger one is probably -4an for a feed line, or if you have 2 large ones, it would be for an oil cooler set up, most likey
these "greddy" adapters if i remember correctly are for thier "greddy" specific gauges, and they made the fittings different on purpose
should have just bought the "permacool" model from autozone
