What exactly is a vtec light?

Is it like a light that tells you if the vtec system is not operating correctly, or is it just a trip light that tells you when it's on? Or what is it?

Some people setup a light that comes on during vtec, I don't understand the huge fascination with this, but a lot of people do it.

I never insinuated that I did need it.

BTW the question was directed toward everybody except your sorry ***, I'll be sure to add that to my signature for you because obviously you can't get it through your ******* head that I want nothing to do with a hair splitting piece of **** like you.

Yeah, obviously you got a problem with quoting

"he said shift at 4k which is a bit high" - he musta meant "the vtec kicks in a around 4k and he thinks that's a high - haha"

So obviously your not too far ontop of quoting...

it was on like page two, no need to get all ***-ish, were just trying to help and some people get a little frustrated when people dont take 2min to look but take 5min to post+waiting time for someone to supply an answer

i dont read every single post, im just having to correct a lot of your bullshit comments, you just told someone that their battery light turned off cause the headlights were drawing too many amps to keep the light on...i mean seriously...its called the high diodes are good and the lows are bad

who gives a flying expletive?

I said it was his alternator, whether it was the diodes (which sounds like something from chemistry but I do admit to failing the electrolytic cell unit) or not, you said it was the alternator, so what's the big ******* deal, if you ******* read the post I said the first ******* 3 words: "I would assume" (or the first 2 "I assume")

Either way I determined that it was the alternator and said so, I dont' need your check to post on something when somebody posts a question and I have a possible answer, I told him right from the getko that I don't know why it was doing that, but I knew what it sure as expletive sounded like....

So maybe you could reply with something like "naw, that's definately not the reason, but it's ur alternator" - y'know, something that actually represents the ******* situation.

i never said you were wrong about the alternator, you were right, but the reasoning should have been left off as it sounds like the bullshit comments i give old rednecks at work when they act like they know what theyre talking about and they agree with what i say and look like complete dumbasses cause i told them their blinker fluid or something was bad

and diodes are electrical and have nothing to do with chemistry

Yeah, electrolytic cells were in my chemistry class last year....Anyways....

So as I said "I would assume" - I wasn't sure, I noted that part in the beginning, it was just a guessed assumption. - but the first part wasn't, and as I'm probably right that it is the alternator, the main point of my post got accross, and that's all that really mattered.
