How would I replace a rear quarter panel on my 4th gen accord? I have a sneaking feeling that I would need a saw and welding equipment... Also sorry if this is found in the archives the search server was not working when I posted this

 

Yes, you would. It would have to be separated from the roof.

 

Ahh...I see, the dent is about 6 inches below the lower corner of my back windshield and severe enough to the point that my tailight is skewed. Does anyone think its possible to fix this?

 

There are these paintless dent removal shops. Maybe they can help you. If it is major damage, probably not. It sure can't hurt to check it out. Good luck

 

they might be able to hammer it out.... but most likely new quarter panel and that will run about $2K

 

actully any reputable body shop will cut out only the very part thats dented and directly weld a new layer of sheet metal unto it, grind down the weld marks, and treat it, paint match it, and call it a day... should run about 300 chickens... maybe a goose or 2, and your 2nd daughter!
