oil pan gasket
I just replaced my oil pan gasket and I tightened all the nuts to 8-9 ft lbs. and the gasket squeezed out on the corners. What should I do? I really don't want to take the oil pan off again. Do you think the oil pan will leak again if I don't take the oil pan off and fit the gasket all the way under the oil pan. The gasket does not stick out a whole bunch. Should I just drive my car and when I do my next oil change, check to see if there is oil leaking ?
So long as it doesn't leak, just leave it be. If I were you, I'd just drive it around for a week, check the oil level every night, and check for leaks at the end of the week
.
Good luck!

I will do this once I get the head back on and I will post the results.
