hey im buyin a ek9 wit a type r motor in it. What number should be on the motor? b18what? thanx

"What colour should I paint the drums on my EK9?" Wrong chassis codes get thrown around so much it's not even funny anymore.

But if it's a genuine EK9 you're purchasing, the stamp should say B16B. If you are purchasing an "EK" hatch with a "type r" motor swap, it might be the B16B, B18C, or B18C5.

civic type r (ctr)- B16B
Integra type r (itr)- B18C5

good luck eather way going to be a monster car ! let us know how it turns out !
