Default My Lsvtec runs @ 210oF to 220oF water temp. Is that normal???

I have a Ls vtec in my eg hatch. I have a fully built head and redlines at 9k. I have the stock radiator and fan. Since im on a budjet now, I was wondering if replacing the radiator with one from an integra would help. If not, and i have to buy an aftermaket radiator would i have to get a fan as well? Or do i just replace the fan with one that produces more cfm? if so wich one?

Replace your thermostat with one from the honda/acura dealer.

T-stat should fully open at 194 deg F

This is for a b18.

Sorry, that temp is not normal, find out what an oem honda thermostat is rated at and get back to me. My car runs at 180 on a cold day and 190 at the most on a very warm day.

I posted the oem b-series t-stat rating above, 194 def F.

But yeah 200-220 isn't normal, i'm at 185-190 on warmer days, this is with the full sized integra radiator.

So what should i do? Should i buy an aftermarket radiator for a civic (Half size looking one) or for an Integra. Can i get away with the stock fan as well and still get a cooler engine?

Anything between 185-215 is normal as stated in the helm manual. The reason why I stated mine run 200-220 is 200 for daily driving and max 220 when I push the car down the track or something and that is around when the fan kick in.

Wont be a direct bolt in, probably have to modify the mounts.
