I bought these Atlas rims off some guy who had them on his EF. They're going onto my car, a 94 coupe with a 4x100 bolt pattern.

My concern is that the bolt pattern im going to use is in those recessed holes, so there is minimal contact compared to the other bolt pattern (which im assuming is 4x114).

They came with these adapter things that go into the middle of the rim (pic). And then the actual bolts themselves have these other pieces that go into the holes (pic). SORRY i dont know the actual terms, i've never seen wheels like this before hence my concern about them being safe for a 4x100 car.

ef's are 4x100 as well unless he had prelude accord or 96 itr brakes it sould fit your lugs

it was a beater car so most likely was still 4x100. But even though he had it on his car it still might not be a good idea..anyone else

 

that big ring in the middle of the rim is called a hub-centric keeps the wheel from moving around, and that's also the point of the ring that goes on the lugstuds. how much stud is actually sticking through the rim for the nuts to screw down onto??

you're right i just did another test fit with the hub-centric ring. Heres a couple pics of them on the car with the lug nuts on.

wtf... just get some conical lug nuts man. or use that ring thing. but i never seen a lug nut like that. as long as the hole is a circle and not an oval, it should be aight..

 

oh yea once two my of studs broke off and the lugnut fell off a third. so I was rolling on one stud, ahahaha

how much of the stud is being "used" by the lug when it is torqued down. if the pic is how it appears, the studs do not look long enough for me. looks unsafe and weak.

 

Well you wont know until you try them. The worst thing that could happen is the wheel wont center up over the hub and you will have vibrationsm

looks like more than half of the stud, they're pretty long lug nuts and the open end could be throwing off the appearance.

Those wheels are probably not 4x100 and 4x114. They are probably just 4x114 because they look as if they do not seat correctly.
