94 Integra LS/GSR oil pumps, the same?
A friend of mine has a 1994 GSR and is going to buildup his engine. He got a hold of a brand new genuine honda oil pump that is supposed to be for a 1992 Integra LS. The part number is: 15100-PR4-A03. Can he use this oil pump in his GSR?
Thanks,
Mark

Your friend needs a 94-01 Integra oil pump.92 not recommended ; I don't know if it would even work.Contrary to the myth, the LS/GSR/Type-R oil pump is the same part number.
My bad. I did some more research on Integra oil pumps. Here's the deal:
1996-2001 Integra LS/GSR/Type-R oil pump part # is-15100-P72-A01.
1990-1995 Integra LS oil pump part # is-15100-PR4-A03.
1992-1995 Integra GSR oil pump part # is-15100-PR3-024.
I still would not recommend using the 15100-PR4-A03 on a 1994 GSR.
Get the 92-95 GSR oil pump. If it was me, I would get a hold of a 96-01 oil pump just to see if it would work, but to be safe, I recommend the 15100-PR3-024.
