88 CRX door panels and dash fit into 91 EF?
I just wanted to check and make sure that the dash and interior door panels will work from a 88 CRX into a 91 EF?
I was told that I might need to pull the CRX vent piping from behind the dash.

Thats right!
The 90-91 have the seat belts in the door and the 88-89 have the seat belt on the body. But the dash will bolt in dont forget the center console out of the CRx. the one inthe Civic faces straight back and the CRx one faces the driver.

actually it does work but you have to do a small cut and eliminate the door seat belts and mount them on the pillar. i already swapped over one door panel and it fit pretty good. some holes didnt line up but its snug and doesnt move... i bought the door panels not even knowing they were different..i actually bought the whole interior. but so far so good...il take some pics tomorro after work.
okay here are some pics i took.
in the yellow circle thats what you have to cut out, because the panels are a bit longer.

old

new

heres the door fitted. solid as a rock

you have to remove this piece. its on the rocker panel.

also dont forget to remove this piece as well. the top part where the seat belt hangs.
now when you connect the door panels,i suggest reusing the old white door clips. the small compartment your going to have to use a bit longer screw and screw it in at an angle. other than that its pretty easy...bare with me on the pics...my camera sucks but atleast you get an idea of what im talken about.

thanks for those pictures.....they are a little dark, but I get the idea of where it should be cut at. Good enough for me.
