Default 5th Gen Magnaflow Cat-back owners, Question

I've got one on my gf's 96 and we're scraping and vibrating lowered on Neuspeed sports and Koni Yellows. With an aftermarket header and rendom tech free flow cat, have any of you experienced clearance issues specially the rear s-bend and the rear sway bar? We had to shorten the cat-back 1in to stop it from vibrating against the heatshield but now it looks like the axle-back flange is hitting the sway bar. I'm also thinking about switching to a skinnier resonator cuz this one is too big for our clearance needs. Suggestions? TIA

I'm also gonna switch back to the stock Ex header, this aftermaeket header has lost me most if not all my low-end torque and I don't like it when the power kicks in after 3k in city traffic.

yeah your resonator is gonna scrap on a lot of things..my accord has a greddy evo 2 and the resonator scrapes on everything haha...but im not sure about the sway bar..you might wanna consider a new exhaust thats made to clear all the stuff

The magnaflow was designed to fit the car "perfectly" I'm sure it's the modification we made that is causing the flange to touch the sway bar. Gonna have to see what happens after we swap the stock ex header back on.

I have a magnaflow cat back exhaust and high flow cat converter. I did happen to notice that there is very little clearance between the pipe and the rear sway bar. I just had to move the hangers a little bit to keep it from vibrating. Yes the resonator hangs really low. As a matter of fact I think its the lowest part of my cars and loves to scrape on just about anything when my car is only lowered 1.7" on eibach sportlines.

My other problem is that the Random Tech cat doesn't have hangers so I feel that even though the rear is secured to the hangers, because the cat portion isn't, it's also what contributes to the vibration and torquing in a sense of the exhaust piping. I'm having a shop weld on hangers as soon as I get paid and get the stock ex header back on, I just have to go buy that portion of the pipe between the end of the stck header that meet with the cat, it's the pipe that houses the first o2 sensor. What a pain, and here I thought it was bolt-on and go, I even emailed Magnaflow and their response was, well, we don't gurantee exact fitment.
