Default It's official, I'm a ricer. VIS JDM UBER USDM HOOD - OhSNAPZ unPimp yer Ride!

This hood is actually raised in the center, as opposed to recessed like my old hood. (aka, the uber JDM USDM hood).

My old hood weighed 25lbs, this hood weighs 15lbs. I'd like to paint it, when we go about painting the rest of the car.

and what did i do with the old hood?
Taped it to the pole out front for either:
- Garbage man
or
- Some honda owner to take it away.

So, basically, $350 to make sure my engine fits under the hood... yeah, it's 10lbs lighter, but I'll never notice the difference when driving it nor will my ETs improve to prove it's benefit (too many other factors to be able to tell that I reduced the car's total curb weight by 0.5%, which could have as easily been done by pooping or by putting less gas in the vehicle.

For those that want to know:
VIS JDM Hood that fits USDM cars is 10lbs lighter.

Looks nicer too.

Paint your trim black for contrast!

I can TEAR IT UP!

The fit is ok. I'll need to reposition the fenders to eliminate some of the gap... i haven't been able to test the bumper yet, as the bumper is new and needs some fixing to make it work.
