Issues with 99' GSR Knuckles on 97' EK DX??? Will They cause unwanted camber? HELP!!
I am going to putting 99' GSR knuckles on my 1997 civic dx, will this cause my wheels to be out of camber. I measured the knuckle arm of the GSR and it is about 1 inch longer than the civic Knuckle. Please help with any info??? Thank You!!
I've heard of people having positive camber after using GSR knuckles because of the difference in lengths. Why are you swapping on GSR knuckles? Aren't the rotors the same size, 10.3"? The only difference between the two brake setups is that the GSR caliper piston is a little bigger. Some people swap on EX knuckles with GSR calipers when upgrading DX brakes for example.
THe EX knuckle had a bad wheel bearing, one of the GSR calipers had a bent pin. So I put the EX calipers on the GSR knuckle, bottled it all up. Seems ok car pulls a little to the right(passenger), but brakes straight. I didn't grease the inboard splines on the drive shaft very well, Should I have???? I greased both side outboard joints.
