Ok I just bought some Bosch Platinum 4+ plugs for the type-r and on the package it has a torque number of 25 Nm, and my manual says to torque to 19 Nm...which number do I torque to? I would imagine in 19 Nm.

 

Anyone? I'd really like to get these new plugs in and I want to be sure not to over torque them.

 

set it to 13 lbs/ft.. i set it to 13.5 lbs/ft just to be sure

and i'm not sure what that equals in Nm

why +4?? i heard that they only good for v6-v8 engines.

wrist tight is just about 13lbs/ft

 

19 Nm is 14 ft-lb

 

Stock plugs + Helms.
