94 Accord Amber Fire Pearl- Maaco Paint job..What do you think?
I got my car painted for:
$300 to paint for Supremene ($500) paint job with integrated clearcoat
$50 to change color
$200 to strip the paint. The paint on my car was stripping off badly
total: $550 with 4 year warranty
I got my car painted at the Maaco in Portsmouth, Virginia. They do EXCELLENT paint jobs for the price. I am not sure if they offer everyone the Supreme paint job for that price, but sometimes they have specials where you get the $500 paint job for $300. It was a hard task selecting a color. I wanted the color like on the 350Z, however it was unavailable. They say they do not have some of the newer colors, so they had me look in 2003 and backward years.
I was actually mad at them because I told them I wanted to change the color I initially choose, they confirmed that I would be able to change it, and they would even call before they paint it to make sure i select the color. They told me they were not painting it until Friday or Saturday, next thing I know they called me Wednesday morning telling me to come and pick it up. I think the color turned out really well for me wanting to change it though. What do you guys think?

No, I didnt get those areas. This was just a external paintjob. The color before was darkish green. It doesnt look horrible, but I intened to do those areas myself, since its not going to be seen readily, if I mess up, it wont be horribly bad.

Should have saved the money and had it done the right way. A complete color change is the only way to do it right.
