Removing wheel stud
When i was changing my winter tires to my summer tires, some how i broke my wheel stud while i was taking the rim off
Does anybody have any idea of removing the wheel stud? Do i have to take the hub assembly out?

Called the Stealership and they said it would cost around $120 for 2 wheel stud replaced
What a rip off. Previous owner had the hub bolt stripped for some damn reason so i might have to take it there
Unless some one have a suggestion??!?

is it the front or rear studs that need replacing? the rears would be much easier since you would only have to remove the caliper, rotor, then the hub bolt and take the hub out. from there just hammer the damaged studs from the face of the hub.
If it was the front you would have to press the hub out of the knuckle to get the studs out. i learned the hard way
hope that helps a lil
