painting calipers

Default painting calipers

whats the proper procedure for painting calipers if you want them to come out good? any sanding required?

It is really hard for it to come out good, sometimes all the masking required is just not worth it.

Clean the surface. Mask off what you don't want painted, and paint.

You can use hi temp engine enamel spray cans from dupli color. You can get them at the local autozone or discount auto parts.

Use the 1200 degree enamel paint. Dont get paint on the pistons, just do what's visible. The masking takes maybe 10 minutes.
