I know these are hard to come by. Was just looking around and thought I'd help anyone looking for a set. Don't know the seller though so you may want to check it out.

I disagree. The all black ones were for the 01 models only. I can find the checkered ones all the time, now finding a good set of the 01's is a little harder.

I thought the checkered mats were discontinued because they are considered an accessory for 97, 98 and 00 ITRs.
The all black ones came standard with 01s so the will be available for 10 years. Isn't there a law that requires manufacturers to make parts for 10 years?

Yes and no, I've heard it's much harder to get the 01's than the others. Most dealerships don't have a lot of ITR specific parts and especially since these are 01 model specific, your only looking at a smaller percentage than the others. The 10 year thing is in affect, but think about the optional kit. It's an option not a stardard part. I don't think the 10 year rule applys to stuff like that.

Exactly. It doesn't apply to accessories.

Hey midget, How are the 01's harder to come by if all these people are saying they order them from Len and esconditootototo? Accesories are not a 10yr item but factory equipment should be.

If this is the case, I need to start stock-piling parts.

No theyre not, in order for them to fit snugly you'd have to turn them wrong side up, which makes buying them pointless.
