Default 2.5 exhaust system set up

hey wassup .. i have a gsr that have plans of around 180 whp ... i have a dc sports 4-1 header (2inch collector) , 2.25 test pipe , and rsr exmag 2.36 .. i really like the rsr exmag and dont plan on spending more money for another catback system so i was jus wondering if going dc sports jdm 4-1 (2.5 collector), 2.5 test pipe, to the rsr exmag 2.36 would be more benificial to what i have right now , or that it wouldnt really matter .. thanks

true
but to truely get the maximum power from an exhaust you have to match the header collecter size, cat/test pipe size and remaiining b pipeing size (meaning youd want 2.5 all around) i had a 2in header and a 2.5in cat and bpipe when i upgraded the header to a bigger jdm size and heat wraped the headers i noticed a moderate gain from b4

so having 2.5 header to 2.5 test pipe to 2.36 muffler would be slightly better than 2.0 to 2.25 to 2.36 ? .. but it would be best to have 2.5 all around ?

ya 2.5 might be cool but you got to be sure you dont lose to much back pressure. if you lose to much back pressure you start to lose power. and i know you dont want that. the good pipe size for a b series motor is 2 1/4.. unless you go turbo

this seems like the same question asked on team-integra.

Stick with the same size piping.

2.25 is good enough for i/h/e

2.5 if you going to build your N/A engine

Id say 2.5-3 for turbo.
