This topic has been killed a million times over. Hit the search and see all the stuff you pull up on B20. Good luck.

Most likely na because the b20b already has high compression. I had a question about sleeveing the block do you have to in order to do crvtec if not would it just be a good idea since the cylinder walls are so thin.

It isn't a legal swap in CA...dunno about AZ but in CA you can never get it smogged and a ref will eat your children if he sees it in there.

B20 is a "truck" engine and cannot legally be in a car.

B20b is low compression... And you don't have to sleeve it to do b20vtec, the weakness of the stock block isn't so much the sleeves, it's the rod bolts. Also, it seems like it's kind of the luck of the draw on how much abuse your block can take. Some guys will be able to shift at 8500 for a few years with no probems, others rev past 7200 once and things start coming apart. b20vtec gets pretty expensive if you take all the steps to make it reliable.

Search for lsvtec, b20vtec, and crvtec, there is so much information on this site.

Pa emissions arent that bad. They can fail you if they realize the motor you have didnt come in your car stock, but a lot of people get away with swapped motors (d to b series for instance) and still pass emissions. Most turbo motors don't pass emissions. The only real way to get around it is to find an import friendly mechanic.... Getting an LS-vtec might be hard to pass b/c I know getting any high mileage honda motor to pass is usually a bitch. My friend's f22 is all stock and that thing barely passed, i had the same problem with my 89 accord, both had high miles though.

My B20 with 20k on it didnt pass. I had to turn down the fuel pressure to 24psi, then it passed. I havent tried it now that it is boosted. I dont think that it'll pass tho. Dont do a search on polls, seach for B20 or related B series topics in archived and you will get results.

thanks so turning the pressure down should help the motor not produce as many hydro carbons... I guess that makes sense less fuel being burned less carbons and ****.
