i was trying to take off my headlights cover today..
because i want to paint the highbeam light yellow !!
but i just can't take off the clear cover ..
i got the headlight out.. but i just can NOT take off the clear cover.. what a **** off.
any write up about.. painting the highbeam light yellow.. please give me the link ! thanks !

well anyway put it in the oven at like 120 f and watch it till the seal starts to get soft on the headlight then you can pull it apart. dont burn yourself they get hot.

use lamin x..its just a film cover, no need for paint

 

Yes, or you can use a heatgun. but i found the oven to be easy. you just need to heat up the headlight cauking so you can pull the light apart. There are many ways to do it, you just have to get it hot.
