Advanced electronics question - Blown Amplifier
Amp wouldn't stop blowing fuses so I opened it up and found this. I'm not sure what that is, but it looks like a thyristor.
So, why did it blow? Is that the reason why I'm blowing fuses? Can I order one of those off of digikey?

Welp, looks like I answered my own question.
Just for the archives:
1. Constantly blowing fuses is the #1 sign of a bad thyristor.
2. The broken do-dad in the above picture is a MOSFET (transistor). I pulled the part number straight off the MOSFET (rfp70n06) and found it on digikey for a buck.
And to think, I almost bought a new amplifier when I can fix this one for $1. Thank God for google.
