My hatch had recently been repainted and all the body work fixed just before i bought the car. Upon further inspection, i noticed that i do not have any working License plate lights. I have the plugs, but no where to plug them into. I removed the bumper, and the tail lights looking for a grommet or something but found nothing. does anyone know where the wiring harness comes from for the lights?

 

the harness comes from inside by the tail light harness and goes out under the bumper support then to the lights above the plate

 

which tail light? there are no holes for any kind of harness to come out of. does anyone have pictures?

 

it plugs into the taillight harness on the passenger side.
