a ******* ladder at 70 mph on the freeway. Amazingly I didn't get a flat, just some really scratched up tires. to people who don't know or care to properly secure the **** in the back of their trucks.

 

i did the same thing in a festiva a coulpe of years ago, i thought i was going to lose it and roll into a big ball of flame(not) viva la festiva.

 

Luck for me though, the ladder was length wise ---- and looked (the microsecond that I saw it) to be kinda flattened from other cars hitting it. I just hope my coilover on the front passenger side isn't messed up from the impact.

 

That happened to this lady in front of me on the freeway. She swurved to miss it and ended up nearly hitting the car on the other lane and spinning completely around. Let's just say that I slowed down the rest of the way home to make sure there weren't anymore ladders in the road.
