I'm deciding between getting Buddy Club N+ Spec or PIC Select coilovers for my EJ6.

My car is daily driven and will participate in autocross events. The BC coilovers come with 12K F and 6K R spring rates and if I'd go with PIC, I'll choose 8k F and 6k R or 10K F and 8k r spring rates. Both are almost the same price.

Buddy Club N+ EK comes with 12K/6K not 8K/6K. Racing specs are 10K/7K.

There's a large difference between the rates you are considering with the PIC's and the ones you are looking at from BC. Both will handle significantly differently on the track, and ride differently on the street as well.

i have to agree and if you decide to go with BC, hit me up i got a deal on them

 

you can get a different spring rate setup on your buddy clubs...there hasn't been too much info on either coilover in terms of long term usage from what i've seen.

pick one that fits you. due to the higher rate on BC, it will be harshy on the street. i think 8/6 rate is alright. if you not gonna slam it. leave about 1 finger gap.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Yes, I don't plan to slam it. I was thinking the 8/6 spring rates will be good to for the street.
