will an aem cai from a gsr fit an ls?
what exactly is the difference between the two? is the gsr one shorter or something? the part numbers are different. this one comes with a bypass as well.
the gsr intake manifold requires a downward bend that the ls/type r manifold doesnt...mainly because of where the TB is located on the gsr manifold

if you want to bend the pipe yourself then sure itll fit...if not...then no...because its located below where the TB of the ls would sit..
When I installed the sk2 im on my gsr, the gsr aem intake was hitting the hood because it sat higher from the change in position of the throttle body.
Itr/Ls have great fitment though!

no man it will not fit. the gsr has the intake manifold that bends over like a u, in the opposite direction that the ls manifold does.. no dont bend it either.. it wont be worth it just sell the one you have and buy the cai for the gsr. it will save lots of time and trouble

IT CLEARS OEM STRUT BAR WITH NO RUBBING EVEN FRON THE STRUT BAR

theres a goddamn pic the day i got my SK2 manifold installed way back when.
yes, GSR CAI from AEM..

thats great dude....nice pic of the skunk2 on the gsr....too bad were talking about the stock GSR manifold which is completely different from the skunk2...the skunk2 is a replica of the ITR...good job
to the original poster...ignore the above poster...he has posted a pic of an ITR replica which is identical in shape to the LS manifold...which is why one can use a LS/ITR intake with the skunk2 manifold....he is an example of one who shoots off his mouth before reading

will an aem cai from a gsr fit an ls?
last time i checked, A GSR intake on a LS would be the same as a ITR replica IM. the ITR and the LS are at the same spots. hence, the GSR intake on my SK2 would be ditto to a GSR CAI on a LS

LS IM left, ITR IM RIGHT

im still going with yes.
a INTEGRA GSR CAI will fit a LS. the bypass might be a variable in the thing, but in one of ur other posts it says u are getting it with a bypass. if its too long u can cut the piping on the CAI arm where it goes from TB to bypass, by the bypass side to shorten it up a bit.

thank you.
thank you.
I had no by pass valve, and mine was hitting the hood, I had to put a towel inbetween to stop the rubbing while my ls/itr intake was on order.
I would say yes the gsr intake will fit if you install the bypass valve, and take some of the length out of the pipe.
I know an ls/itr intake is a much better fit and also looks a hell of a lot better!
Look at Robstunner4's picture of the intake in relationship to his upper strut bar. It is really close to the hood!

my intake does not interfere with anything. the only thing that ever interfered with anything was the stock GSR throttle cable hitting the hood and touching the stock strut bar. with a OEM ITR pulley, cable, and bracket, theres no problem any more. i did not have to do any cutting to shorten the pipe. read the directions on the bypass valve and thats how much i cut.
