When I first test drove a SI, the floor mats were stitched to match the seats. When I took del. of my civic the sales man told me they dont make speical si floor mats anymore. Just wondering if he was feeding me bull **** or not. Does anyone have custom si floor mats from the factory??

 

They might have been floormats from another SI model, like an earlier model. I don't know off the top of my head though if anyone has factory SI floor mats.

 

the 02-05 si had SI on the mats

the 06 mats are just solid black

Does anyone know if (or how well) the 02-05 mats will fit in the 06??? Call me superficial, but I'd really like to have the stitching!!!

they dont fit

Im sure you can take the mats to an embroidery place and have someone stich in "Si" on them. That would probably be pretty sweet...

but more than likely the person you take them to will screw them up.

I just got my rubber mats in for the 06 si the other day...now i wont have foot holes where i rub through the mat with my feet. The rubber mats say civic on them and thelyll be easier to clean. I know they dont look as s"smooth" as the regular mats, but in the long run itll prolly help.
