ok i have a 95 lx and when i bought it the ac worked (2 years ago) now it dosnt work it blows in hot air. so i go 2 check the damn thing and my ac compressor isnt engaging. so im like wtf! i check my fuses and everything is fine and im scratchin my head thinking what can it be so i go on all data 2 see the wiring diagrams. Turns out i dont have a freakin condenser relay. the mount was laying on the side the wires were covered with electrical tape and i start 2 think wtf happened.

Then i remember that my radiator had been replaced ( wich is where the relay is closely mounted on.) So my guess is that they ripped out the radiator and when they did that my relay went with it. i didnt kno much about cars back then so i didnt kno what was going on. So now i have 2 get a new relay but i cant find one. i called the local autozone pep boys and kargen but no luck is it a dealer item only? i checked out a web site and its going for 38 bucks. does anyone kno where i can get it cheaper or is anyone whiling 2 sell they'res?

HEY P ADAMS does it matter if i get a relay off of a newer or older model accord or civic?

 

I just replaced mine they are mitsuba rc-2201 run about 40 bucks a piece or you a try to find them at a local salvage yard for about ten bucks each or ebay. By the way there are two relays located on the radiator one is for the condenser fan and the other one is for the compressor and you need both of them if they are both missing they are the same part number.

yea i know i need both of them to have my ac working i have the compressor relay. are they both the same exact thing or do they differ in any way?
