Default 4th gen accord tranny

i have a 92 accord with 215k + on the tranny. i recently installed a low mileage engine in the car (replaced timing belt, water pump, seals etc.). the transmission grinds going into second gear only when it is extremely warm (you would have to drive on the interstate for 45 minutes or so during the summer to make this occur) it hasn't ground a gear all winter, now that it is warm again i would like to address the problem.

i know this sounds strange, but it is true. if anyone knows a way to solve this problem or a reputable place to get a tranny i would appreciate it.

*i already tried synchromesh

stupid question, but did you try synchromesh FM or just synchromesh? They are different.
