My alternator went on my crx and I want to take the alternator off my civic and put it on there. Both engines are d series, non-vtec. Will this work or should I just get a rebuilt one?

 

Yes it will, you can also use a 92-95 civic altenator since the plugs are the same. But, you will have 1 extra lobe around the pully which will still work, but if u want the original, your going to have to take the pully off the old one and put it on the new one.

 

I have a 94 civic hatch, so am I going to need to change anything?

 

What do u mean? is that the car from doner altenator? Or is 94 hatch what u want to put it in?
