hey everyone... just to let you know i got a 85 CRX Si. I've been experiencing some weird problems lately and it has to do with my headlights. When my headlights is turned off, the car seems to idle fine but when they are on, the idle drops pretty low... but just enough that it doesnt die out. I know this is a old car and do you think the problem has to do with the voltage regulator? Is there anyway I can check?

 

Check your battery connections and if they are all good try getting your alt. checked out

 

does it sound like the voltage regulator is going out?
