Default EG DX motor into EF DX...

Hey guys, I got a good deal on a longblock with low miles and great running condition. My goal was to do an engine swap with a bit more pep, MPFI, and with an SI tranny.

My question is though, do I necessarily have to convert to OBDI to use this motor? Theoretically, can't I just install an A6 distributor and A6 injectors onto the motor and run it off of a PM6?

Also are the sensors on the block different at all from an EF or is it all plug and play? I really don't want to convert to OBDI and I'm just trying to get a healthier motor in my car. Thanks in advanced!

Also, I got a 91 SI trans laying around. What clutch setup do I use, the one off of my current 91 DX or the the clutch setup from the EG DX motor (D15B7)

So that's all that's needed -- injectors, dizzy, and ECU? No knock sensors or any of that jazz have to be switched from an EF motor?

Thanks for the help

yeah its pretty straight forward...you possibly may have to change the fan switch plug but thats it, that i could think of.....make sure you use the a6 mani for an easier install..

Thanks alot for your help man ... one final question -- if I don't have access to an A6 intake manifold what would be needed to make the D15B7 work. I also have a D16Z6 manifold laying around if that would make the install easier....
