Default 4th gen drivers seat

Okay this may be a wierd question, so brace yourselves. I am 6'3, currently my ride is auto but it should be converted to 5spd by fall. I am thinking I may need a little more leg room to work the clutch considering I like my sterring wheel at its lowest setting. My question is, is it possible to relocate the seat back 6-8 inches without damaging anything below or are there longer rails in which can be installed/ or even modified. And oh I plan on taking the back seat out as well so it won't be in the way.

The rails bolt on at angles to mounts that are higher than the floor. They aren't bolted on just flat, so this would probably be very hard to do.

Well that sucks. I was hoping it would be a bit easier. But then again, not is totally impossible.
