Default 2 months later, I've got one of em just about done....

I finished all the major work on #00-0187 this past weekend finally.. humpty dumpty is back together again.. it'll probably go back into storage until my accord sells, but I thought I'd post pics in celebration..

from this, two months ago:

to this, this past weekend:

hard to tell everything that was done from the pics, but let me tell you it was quite an undertaking.. the most intense rebuild I've done yet..

still got #332 sitting and waiting for me to decide what to do with it..

Looks great. Did you find it hard to go from JDM to USDM front end? I don't think I've ever seen one go from JDM to USDM.

What did you do with the jdm parts. Interested in some parts if you still have it. Other than that impressive rebuild. Keep her safe and enjoy your car. Really good work.

Nice job Mark. That jdm front end was pretty hideous. You've finished that car faster than I expected.

I also find it funny and interesting that the car went from USDM to JDM back to USDM. When you sell her the new buyer will put on a JDM front.

Good work

sold as a whole locally..

it was only complicated by the improper installation the first time around.. other than that I don't think it would've really been THAT bad.. it was time consuming to do it right though..

I know I'm one of the few to ever put a USDM front back on, but I wanted this car to be 100% OEM, stock, USDM when I was done.. which it is now.. I see the JDM front end as a modification and wanted 0 mods on this car.. that and they look like accords..

Wow... you did an amazing job from what the pics show! Had you calculated what you thought it would cost you to rebuild before hand? If you didn't have you calculated what it actually did cost you in the end?

Very nice work.

Just a general observation: It's amazing how much the wing balances out the design. Looks lost without it. Looks like my old '98 RS! (also a great car, btw)

yep.. I keep records on all purchases/sales for any project I pick up.. it ended up not being bad at all, really.. pretty close to what I had projected I would need to put into it before buying it..

because someone had put a GSR suspension on it.. I swapped that out..

I have no idea how you could even begin to see if it had the defroster or not in that pic (it does, and did).. it IS missing the wiper in the first pic though..
