confuse about tranny
i have a 94 rs integra, and i'm planning/rather changin it into a manual. my friend gave me a suggestion with the si tranny (the last B-serie si) or a gsr. i been lookin for tranny for about a few weeks now and i come across a cable and hydro tranny. i'm just confuse as to which i need to get. i have no idea what is the differences between the two. i'm so lost in this. any help or advice would be grateful, i'm tryin to get everything and do it in may before it gets too hot. sorry for the bad grammar. blah. thanks in advance.
ps. i bought the rs*r exmag exhaust you guys recommended, i love it

You are going to want to get a hydro tranny. The si and gsr trannys will have a shorter gear ratios then the RS tranny. They will give you better acceleration but you gas mileage will be worse.
ur gunna need a hydro (hydrolic) tranny. cable tranny engages the clutch with a cable. the hydro has a hydro line similar to ur brakes. as per ur tranny. id stick with a b16 for race purposes (shorter gears) or a gsr tranny for more of a daily driver.
hi, thanks for the input. i was wondering if i get a cable tranny, would it be possible to switch it over to hydro, or do i have to find a hydro tranny? i might just stick with the gsr for turbo application.
