This might be a stupid forum but its really been bugging me so I had to see if you guys know...I know with the different generations they have different things like...my 94 accord is a CD8 I think?..what does that mean...and what are the different ones for accords and civics..i know the 00 civic is EK9 but what do these things mean?

 

These refer to the chassis code of the car. Each generation and style (coupe, sedan, hatchback, etc) has a different code.

The Accord chassis codes should be found in the "Guide to Basic Accords" thread stickied at the top of the Accord section.

 

since you drive a honda in the US you are either a cd5 (5th gen 4dr) or a cd7 (5th gen 2dr)...the 6th gen USDM civics are EJ's, and the 99-00 Si is an EM1
