I was given a free set of H&R sport springs that was taken off a 1992-95 4 door Civic and was wondering if they would onto my ITR ?

Thanks.

yes they will fit. Probably different spring rates though.

Not only that, but the ITR springs have a progressive spring rate. I checked the H&R website and they mention nothing so I would asume that the springs have a standard spring rate.

All the aftermarket springs (made for OEM type shocks) I've seen have been progressive. There very well may be companies that offer linear springs for OEM shocks, but 99% of them offer progressive. The reasoning for this is most likely that progressive springs make the ride quality more tolerable.

Also a progressive spring will get harder to compress as it compresses.

Exactly, as they have a variable spring rate. I prefer linear springs personally.
