I have a 2001 Accord. One day it had some trouble turning over when I started it, and the radio cut off. Got a new battery, entered the radio code, but only the radio came up- cd player and tape won't work at all. Dealer will charge $95 to even look at it... any ideas?

There is only one radio code for the whole system. You may be able to have it taken out and repaired but you might as well go ahead and install an aftermarket one. By the time you pay to have that one fixed you could have bought a new one.

 

Is the CD player displaying a code?
