Yeah...that's because CHARGESPEED, the company that originally made that style lip is concerned with aerodynamics.
The closer the lip is to the ground, the less air that can flow underneath the car to create drag. I'd be scared to drive with an irrepairable $200+ investment sitting inches from the ground
If you want a lip that sits even with the sides, get an OEM lip.
