I haven't had this set up on my s2k, but I did have Koni fully adjustable on my
RX-7 and loved them. I prefered the Koni over the alternatives such as Tokigo, KYB, etc.

I just put koni adjustables on and they are great. I have them on almost full stiff and it makes a huge difference. The car sticks hard around corners.

i've been running kg/mm race springs and koni yellow shocks for about a yaer now and the ride is just perfect (depends on the damper setting on the shock u specify). i highly recommend koni yellows.
