Default Clay Barring wheels?

I have some white TE's and the two front ones don't look as bright as the rears even after washing and waxing them. Has anyone clay barred their wheels before? Would it help bring the white out?

I don't know the answer, but it's also being asked in this topic on the ITR forum.

Try it on the inside and see what happens.

You can clay bar the wheels....just keep it lubricated when you do it. I use the leftover pieces that aren't gunked up from a detail to do it. If you are really **** you could pull off about 1/3 of it before you use it on the cars paint and store it in a ziploc bag. You should clay bar, use a paint cleaner (i.e. AIO, made by Klasse) & wax the wheel ( I use Tech wax)...but YES, it is o.k. to use a clay bar.
