Default Shifting really really hard, bent linkage ??

My GSR's shifting has gotten really really hard recently. My exhaust broke and bent at one point and im thinking it may have bent up and bent the linkage. Is there anything else that would cause this other than bent linkage ?? It still goes into gear realy smooth, but just moving the actual shifter is very hard.

If you're leaning towards the linkage, have you got under and checked it yet?
Get some pics also, and compare it.

Yeah, i looked at it but didnt see any unusual bends. I guess the only way i could rule out the linkage is to disconnect it, and try to move the shifter fork with my hand, and if it has the same resistance as my other gsr tranny then it is the linkage. if it has more resistance, than it is something inside the tranny.

Here's two pics, one of each linkage.

Goes to the bottom of the shifter.

Holds it in place.

I figured it out, somehow the bolt that holds the shifter to the linkage tightened up. All I had to do was loosen it and now it shifts like butter!
