I am looking for a cheap mod to do becuase right now i am trying to get my bodywork done. I see a lot of people taking off there stock airbox and putting a performance filter on is that just like a air intake and would i see any hp out of it. would i just have to take the air box off and put that on there or is there more to it.

 

Thast all you have to do but the stock piping stil stops good air flow. just get a cheap ebay intkae And buy a K&N filter

You won't see any noticable gains, but it will be louder, and you'll have a reusable filter. I say go for it, and eventually you can buy an ebay intake and put your good filter on it.

 

ebay intake, 30 bucks max. K&N universal filter, 25-35 bucks

total

55-65 bucks for a good intake
