1 how much money do you have?

2 how good are you with tools(can you MAKE it fit if you need to)?

3 how much downtime for the car do you have(is it DD or project)

4 how much speed do you want?

sorry i can't help more, im not too familiar with that generation, but these questions will help get us started.

I am looking to try not to spend more then 400 on this project
I am good with tools. I am an electrician and my best friend is a Mech
Downtime is not a big deal for me.

I just want to go a lil faster. Enough to keep up with the racing community. I just think its and original idea. The interior is done and the body kit is almost finished. I am just looking for so power to add to it. If you know some one who has a 1.6 V-tec. That should fit.

You're ruining an S car with a body kit? What did you do to the interior? The factory red/black seats are already pretty awesome.

$400 will not get you anywhere close to a 1.6VTEC. That will barely cover the electronics end of the swap unless you already have literally every part you're going to need:

Custom axles
Engine/Transmission
Custom mounts
Custom fuel lines/fuel pump assembly
Entire OBDI engine and interior harness modified to fit vehicle, or OBD0 harness with a jumper

If you want to go faster without having to go through the trouble of converting to EFI and making custom axles and mounts, look for an EK swap. They are 40 hp more than your current engine, bolt in, and are found in the 80-83 Preludes and many of the other older Hondas like the 1G Honda Accord.
