Does anybody have......
i NEED a vband clamp for the manifold side for a Tial 44mm Wastegate. the sooner the better, before the weekend if at all possible!! if anybody can help me out, please shoot me a PM! seems nobody wants to seperate the clamps from the rest of the wastegate "kit". hopefully somebody has one laying around they are willing to get rid of!
thanks!
thanks!
cool man i'll keep that in mind if it comes down to that. it would be so much easier to just buy one though! i thought i got lucky and had 2 spare flanges...but i forgot that these damn things have male/female flanges......and unless my manifold is into lesbians......im going to have to get a couple flanges now too. DOH!

I have the manifold to wastegate flange...it's called the inlet flange. I also have the outlet flange and clamp for the dumptubes.

im good on the dump tube stuff....
here is my problem.
my intercooler is way too big, and i was a pain in the *** on myself and cut and welded a bunch of stuff in the front of the car to get the intercooler to sit as far back (towards the motor) as possible so that i wouldnt have to cut the bumper all crazy. it turned out awesome. this also involved some cutting and trimming of the headlights
one of my wastegates hits the intercooler, so im trying to make an adaptor off of the manifold, then into the wastegate...so another words 2 more flanges, and 1 extra clamp. the one end that bolts to the wastegate is fine, but included in the tial box is just a female end. the manifold already has a female end on it.....so i have 2 female flanges matted together. not good. there is no reason for them to make a male end on that side, because thats where the wastegate is supposed to go which is the male end. each wastegate came with an extra female flange...so i have enough flanges, i just need a male flange, which i doubt that make. i wonder if the v-bands will seal enough like that.......im not sure what to do at the moment.
but i do still need that clamp regardless!

haha yea i figured that was confusing as hell.
cliff notes.
intercooler too big
wastegate hits intercooler
need to make adaptor..... flange - 90 bend - flange
manifold has female end, wastegate is male end
since im clamping a flange to another flange......its 2 female flanges clamped together
thats a problem!
probably still confusing, but i'll give you a call tomarrow for the clamp!
thanks terry, i appreciate the offer, but it sounds like andrea has what i need and is 1 day shipping away!!
