How to remove a brake line routing bracket
I have some koni Yellows on my car. My friends and I installed them, we did not install the brake line routing bracket as we cannot remove it from the factory strut. Just want to know if anyone has done this or has any suggestions, also need to know if it will work with a koni strut.
Pic doesn't work.
I'm not sure on this but i don't think you can attach the bracket to the Koni's. I think we used some zipties on mine. Maybe some one can confirm this, cause im not 100% on this.

Edit - you can't upload a pic from your computer. You need to upload it. How-to

Here is a link of a Koni install:

On another site, one guy mentions to take the bracket from the stock struts by using a hammer. He also mentions that Konis don't come with the bracket, only Bilstein.
Notice in the pictures, the bracket includes the metal ring that goes around the strut.

Big screwdriver (or chisel) and hammer. Stand the shock upright on a piece of wood, need helper to hold of the shock. Use the hammer against the end of the screwdriver and start tapping the bracket. It'll start to come loose after a few hard hits.

make sure you line up the bracket properly when putting it on the koni...
the bracket helps position the strut in the fork properly. without the bracket the strut sits too low in the fork LOL.
